Badlands National Park
There
are many things to do at Badlands National Park! This is actually my favorite location to go to. Here,
you can explore the park's unique geologic formations by hiking one of the many
trails, including the popular Notch Trail, the Castle Trail, or the Fossil
Exhibit Trail. You may also take a beautiful drive along Badlands Loop Road,
which provides amazing views of the park's incredible rock formations and the
fauna that lives there. If you are curious about the geology and history of the
park, be sure to stop by the Ben Reifel Visitor Center, where you can watch a
short film, see exhibits, and speak with rangers. Other activities include
camping, stargazing, and wildlife viewing. Also, remember to bring plenty of
water, apply sunscreen, and comfortable shoes!
